Author and Publication Information

Author Guidelines

General Requirements

Manuscripts must be original, relevant to the focus and scope of Journal of Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Economics, and must not be published or under consideration by another journal.

Submit the manuscript in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or RTF format. Authors should use the journal template when one is provided.

Manuscript Organization

A research manuscript should normally include: title; author names and affiliations; corresponding-author information; abstract; keywords; introduction; research method; results and discussion; conclusion; acknowledgments/funding statements where applicable; conflict-of-interest statement; data or ethics statements where applicable; AI declaration where required; and references. Alternative structures may be used when methodologically appropriate.

Tables and Figures

Place tables and figures in the manuscript close to their first citation. Number them consecutively, provide a clear title/caption, and include a source line. Use tables and figures only when they materially support the analysis.

Citation and References

Use APA 7th Edition using the author–date citation system. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference-list entry, and every reference-list entry must be cited in the text. Arrange references alphabetically by the first author’s surname, use a 1.27 cm hanging indent, and include DOI or stable URL information when available.

Research Integrity and Ethics

Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, authorship, ethical approval, informed consent, permissions, data integrity, and disclosure statements associated with the manuscript. The journal may conduct similarity screening and editorial checks before peer review.

Submission Metadata

Complete all OJS metadata accurately, including the manuscript title, abstract, keywords, author names, affiliations, email addresses, and other information requested during submission.

Manuscript Format Notes

  • Paper size: A4; margins approximately 1.8 cm (left/right) and 1.45 cm (top/bottom).
  • Main body: EB Garamond 11 pt, justified, approximately 1.08 line spacing; first-line indent 0.75 cm.
  • Title: EB Garamond 17 pt bold; main headings: EB Garamond 12.5 pt bold; subheadings: EB Garamond 11.5 pt bold.
  • Use figures and tables only when they materially support the analysis. Number them consecutively and provide a source line.
  • Citation and references: APA 7th Edition, author–date system. Reference entries use a 1.27 cm hanging indent and are arranged alphabetically.

Deposit Policy

Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their papers in institutional or subject repositories, embargo not applied.

The paper version includes:

  • Preprint
  • Author's Accepted Manuscript
  • Published article (Version of Record)

Authors may deposit and use the paper version as follows:

  • on the personal website
  • on the company or institutional repository
  • on subject repositories

with individuals requesting personal use for teaching and training within the author's institution and also as part of an author's grant applications

Advertising Policy

Journal of Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Economics does not accept advertising that could compromise editorial independence, publication integrity, or editorial decision-making.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Journal of Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Economics applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of:

IDR 300,000 per accepted article

The APC is charged only after the manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process and has received an acceptance decision. Payment does not guarantee acceptance. The APC supports publication and editorial processing costs associated with the accepted article.
